Colorado Safety Association provides forklift operator and other powered industrial truck training in accordance with the requirements of the OSHA standard (29 CFR 1910.178 (l)). The training begins with a classroom session that covers all aspects of forklift/equipment safety procedures. The second part of the training is a hands-on session in which participants are evaluated on safe operation of the equipment.
Participants must pass a written test and be successfully evaluated during the hands-on skill session. This training is required every three years.
This training is done on-site. Go here for on-site information.
