Offices are usually viewed as a safe work environment when compared to other types of work places, but questioning this reveals everyday hazards that can cause serious harm to workers.  Key sources for hazards in offices include distracted walking, hazardous chemicals that are used in office machines, for cleaning and maintenance, repetitive motion and related stress and the ever-present hazard of falls. The information discussed in this program will help employers and employees identify and evaluate existing or potential hazards. It will also provide resources to help with training and incident prevention.

What we will cover:
·Slip, trip and fall hazards
·Struck/caught by injuries and hazards
·Back injury prevention
·Office ergonomics and work station setup and design considerations
·Fire safety and emergency response

     o   Employee travel/driving for business
     o   OSHA compliance considerations
