


Emergency Response Preparedness & Pandemic PlanningEmployers must establish effective safety and health programs and prepare their workers to handle an emergency or crisis before it arises. Through preparedness planning and practice, you can act to ensure safety and minimize damage, while managing the crisis or emergency. Emergencies to be prepared for include: explosions, fires, bomb threats, medical emergencies, off-site emergencies, civil disturbances and environmental emergencies. This program will cover planning, recognizing an emergency, chain of command, emergency response teams, response activities, training, communications and public affairs. Special emphasis will be placed on Pandemic Business Continuity Planning. |
