Hazard Communication HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher

Hazardous Material Transportation HM-126

This class is required for all hazmat employees. Participants learn the scope, applicability and complexity of DOT regulations, the characteristics of hazardous materials, their classification, markings, labelings and placards, as well as training requirements. The second part of the class is dedicated to operations assessment and evaluation for development and implementation of a written transportation safety and security plan to address personnel, facilities and en route security risks inherent in the transportation of hazardous materials. Detailed instructions are provided. This training is required every three (3) years.
