Occupational Safety and Health professionals are on the front line for recognizing organizational risk. These professionals understand that risk to an organization is not limited to worker safety, but also includes third party liability risk, reputation risk, property loss, and fleet exposures to name a few. This session will introduce safety professionals to key risk management topics that will help them identify and manage the various kinds of risk faced by their organizations.

Attendees will learn how to
• Prioritize the organization’s loss control objectives, focusing on both prevention and mitigation
• Understand liability, property, financial loss exposures
• Analyze the impact that incidents/loss experience have on the cost of insurance, retention and risk transfer mechanisms
• Apply the risk management process to strategic issues
